Hi there guys, I updated my laptop to Windows 10 for like 2 months now. It works flawlessly except for one thing, I can't adjust the brightness of my monitor. My unit is Lenovo Z400 with intel core i3, intel hd 4000 graphic card with a dedicated gpu from nvidia (gt635m). Everytime I adjust the brightness, it turns down to 25%... So it means that my display will go from very bright to dim. All I need to do then is to restart my computer and as it boots, i will press the brightness key to bring it back to 100% brightness. It seems annoying sometimes becasue everytime I hit the brightness hardware button, this happens. So my question is, when are you going to update the drivers in your site or is there any way to make this work aside from using the Microsoft Basic Display adapter. Thanks in advance guys

Welcome in lenovo community,
Lenovo did not test or release the compatible windows 10 drivers for the Z400 laptop yet,
Please try to uninstall the graphics driver from the device manager >> restart the laptop >> right click the graphics driver in device manager >> Update Driver software >> Search automatically software.

I have the exact same problem with my P400. You have to reload the Old Driver or in Device manager under Video - Drivers you can "Rollback to to Previous Driver". This happens everytime Windows 10 does an Update which is Troublesome. Lenovo Never Fix this Problem from Windows 8.1. I keep asking Lenovo when will them fix the problem but no answers.

Thanks Joseph for the quick response. I tried your solution but then same issue, it downloads the latest driver from Intel but then again I can't adjust the brightness. Anyway, I found a solution to this temporarily by editing the registry. It worked though.
