I am looking for your assistance regarding a topic with the external display I am currently using. I am running a Windows 10 on my laptop and after an update of the nVidia drivers - I have an issue with the signal going through the HDMI cable. While the External display is plugged in - it is using the Intel Integrated.
I have came across a similar topic in here:
And I have done almost everything except the "RESTART" option.
I have checked the HDMI cable and it is High speed - and yes, I am sure - the issue first appeared when I updated the drivers. Now I have reverted to older version of the drivers but still experience the issue.

I have the same problem. Suddenly last week the connection to TV or monitor through HDMI cable stopped working. Tried different cable, and different monitors, so it's definitely the laptop (Z50).
If it is a driver update, does anyone know which driver, and how to roll back th update?

I just did a clean reinstall of nvidi drivers, and it worked for my Z50
Got the driver from the lenovo pcsupport website (in my case it was here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/downloads/ds103958) and selected clean install when installing
