My laptop keyboard recently stopped being able to allow me to press w and q at the same time. Other keys on it work, just these two seem to have problems with each other for some reason. It's not sticky keys, that's disabled. I don't know what caused it, since nothing has been dropped or spilled on it recently. I even took the keys out, cleaned up around them and put them back in. Any suggestions would be appreciated, being able to press these two keys is a useful shortcut of mine on several different applications.
Just checked and this seems to be a problem with certain other keys too. I can't press w and then q, or e and then q, or r and then q. I can press any other combination of something and then q just fine like this:
but trying to press the keys mentioned above gives me these without a q on them:
In addition to this, the volume keys at the top that let me turn up and turn down and mute sound do not work as intended, but when I use them with their FN functions to use F1, F2, F3, they work just fine. I don't know what's causing this and any help would be appreciated. I have tried to download the necessary drivers and nothing helps.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
So by the sounds of things, the common medium between the problems appear to be the "Q" key, it`s possible that there is a problem with that part of the motherboard.
Does it make any difference depending on what sort of pressure you apply to the keys there?
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
