Lenovo Z50-75,RAM upgrade, OS Linux

I owe a Lenovo Z50-75, AMD FX-7500 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G . I use Ubuntu 16.04.

Some more info from cmd:

Total of physical memory modules found 6144 MB in 2 memory module(s)
BIOS offers 0 MB as usable
Memory seen by OS 4883 MB
  BIOS version 01/18/2018
  CPU is PAE enabled
  CPU is x86_64 64-bit enabled
  OS is x86_64 64-bit

 description: System Memory
       size: 6GiB
description: SODIMM DDR3 Synchronous 800 MHz (1.2 ns)
          size: 2GiB
          description: SODIMM DDR3 [empty]
description: SODIMM DDR3 Synchronous 800 MHz (1.2 ns)
          size: 4GiB
          description: SODIMM DDR3 [empty]

I want to upgrade my RAM to 16GB, which is the best option for me?

If it is possible I could upgrade to 14GB by just adding to the free slot(??). Which are the characteristics I should search for buying  a new RAM?

Is "Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1866 SODIMM" an option to "just" add a second RAM to my existing without buying 2x8GB?

Thank you in advance
