Aight so I think i gotten a little closer in things of troubleshooting.
Ran the latest BIOS Update yesterday on my p52s, -> the shut downs appeared even more often now when notebook is in use (Adobe Premiere)...
Tried the "fast start" as well, no change.
So what i discovered now, when I run my machine off the charger (on battery) this won't happen...so far at least.
When i plug it back in and try to work on it-> shut downs are back.
Checked all drivers, temperatures, resources, ran a hardware check -> nothing found.
Also openend a ticket at Lenovo s online helpdesk...still waiting tho
I'll keep u posted

I buyed the same type laptop about 1,5 year ago. I used only with linux mint sytem. I have the same problem: randomly shutdown. The difference it is not random... When i use the built-in gpu, and the 4 core cpu (high load on the machine), then i can saw the battery discharging. The power-cord of course plugged in, and when i lower the load, the battery charge back to maximum. I played with my friend yesterday and the battery dried up, while the power-cord was plugged in.
I have the original adapter packed with my laptop when i buyed it. It is a 45W power output capable adapter. 20V, 2,25A. (20*2,25=45) I think (my assumption is), when i play, and it is cause a high load, then the laptop-components (gpu,cpu,screen,wifi,usb-thumbdrive,hdd anything else) uses more power (current, electricity), than 45W.
in the storm can a company with his product sell a charger, what is insufficient to use its max capabality? In my country the replacemant charger for this laptop 90W output capacity (20v, 4,5A) is 40 dollar. And the lenovo company spared on my and my laptop 0,5 dollar extra profit, plus the new charger... My bloodvessels ignite in like this situation.
I buy the charger (with bigger capacity) on the next week and send here again my observations.
Thank you all, and thank you lenovo. It is a good machine and i love it, but don't spare on me or on anyone laptop-components (charger), which is very cheap in your country... (10 dollar)
The term in my country for this is penny-
