Welcome in lenovo community,
Please try to uninstall the driver from the device manager >> then restart the laptop >> it will automatically identify the driver again >> after that check if it is working or not.

My advice to you is, to install windows 8.1, then make sure that everything is working fine, after that upgrade to windows 10, using the media creation tool.
Media creation tool link:
Do not forget to backup your data before windows installation.

Actually, I prefer clean installation rather than an upgrade because I think it's better direct installation for maximum performance. I hope Lenovo Support Team can be fix it problem with Patch or DVD Drivers for Windows 10.

I posted the solution in a different thread, but I’ll post it here as well.
I found the solution here. To cut a long story short, you need to download and install AMD chipset driver here. If it doesn’t work automatically, go to Device Manager > IDE/ATAPI controllers and update the driver manually.
It would be nice if Lenovo uploaded the driver to their website.
This still means you won’t be able to install Windows 10 from a DVD, you’ll have to use a flash drive and update the driver after installation.
