Re: Lenovo Z500 T "Cannot find harddrive

hi Calsu,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Try Powering on the computer without the Ac connected.

Once ON, Hold down the power button, computer will shutdown but still hold it down for another 15 sec after it Turned Off.

Then Reconnect the AC and Turn it on, right away start tapping F2 to boot into BIOS check if the HDD will be detected.

If not, HDD might be having issues.

If you are comfortable you can check this maintenance manual on how to reseat the HDD

(Note: any damages during the procedure will not be covered under warranty)

Since the comupter is still in its one year base warranty it is best to Call Lenovo Technical Team and have the issue reported, You will be provided with options on how to have the unit checked or repaired.
