Hi, 

After leaving my laptop for qute a while and the display is off (also for a few minutes), my monitor starts to blink whenever I move my fingers on the topuch pad or type/press any button instead of lighting up.... This usually happens when the unit isn't plugged at the outlet. Any help why this happens? :(

I’m sorry to hear that monitor starts blinking when the touchpad is activated in the Z500 when the computer is not plugged in with AC adapter, re-installing the chipset and Display driver should resolve the issue.

Chipset Drivers:

• Intel Chipset Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit  or  64-bit)
• Intel Chipset Driver for Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Display Driver:

• Nvidia Video Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit  or  64-bit)
• Nvidia Video Driver for Windows 8 (32-bit  or  64-bit)

Do post us back if the issue still persists.
