I have a Lenovo Z51-70 device for 4 years. I'm very happy with this laptop, it has never let me down. However, a serious problem has recently arisen.
Gray, horizontal stripes began to appear on the screen. They do not appear all the time, in addition they are at different screen heights. Sometimes narrow, sometimes a few centimeters wide, there are usually a few.
Until recently, to get rid of them, it was enough to move the screen a bit, i.e. change the angle of its opening until they stop flashing.
Recently, it's hard to find a screen position in which stripes do not appear.
There is one more strange thing. If it wasn't for that, I would be sure it was a rail connecting the screen to the rest of the laptop.
Stripes practically do not appear when the battery is 100% charged and the charger is connected! I can then set the screen at any angle and no stripes appears.
Do you think this could be a problem with power supply, charger? Because obviously the stripes also depend on it. The worst is when the battery is charging, i.e. it is e.g. 40% and the laptop is connected to electricity.
Is it, however, the rail connecting the screen to the laptop?
Thank you in advance for your answers and greetings to all!

Welcome to the Community Forums Matthew78!
Happy new year to you as well!
Try to check first if the stripes/lines are also visible when in BIOS menu.
To access BIOS menu/mode on your laptop, press the NOVO button on the left side view of your device then select Bios Setup.
You may also connect the laptop to an external monitor to see how it will response as well.
Let us know what will happen, we'll be waiting for your response.
