Do not adjust the size or change the name on any of the partitions or one key recovery will not work, also make the recovery dvd`s as soon as you can.

hi., thanks for ur suggestion, today itself i ll back up the recovery in DVDS.

On my C: drive it was 398 GB free of 420 GB partition and D: is 21.3 GB free of 25.4 GB..

i am confused how to partition the things and recover the things back with my windows 7 OS again....

As u told not to resize the partition.. i need to use the space of the harddisk and makeup into further partitions without adjusting the size....How i can do this?? Pls pls suggest.. as i need to install server edition and then again the OS 7.

I want to makeup the harddisk into following:

C: 60 GB

D: 80 GB

E: 120 GB

F: 200 GB

pls ASAP suggest the procedure i need to follow...

If you have an spare hdd/ssd clone the ordiginal hdd to it, i use acronis true image, then you can delete all the uneeded partions on the cloned hdd and expand or create new partitions as you see fit.

I use the free partition wizard boot cd to make my partition adjustments.

I never use the original hdd, i remove it as soon as i get the notebook, and make a image of it to another hdd/ssd so i always have the original hdd to fall back on if i need too.
