Welcome to the Community Forums!

Do you happen to have any issues with the current BIOS version in your laptop? Apparently, we don't have any news about it yet. All updates for BIOS are usually uploaded in our site: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/

Re: Lenovo Z710 BIOS&UEFI update

Another hand here to help!

We've checked here https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/pd031426 and the Z710 is not listed to run Linux. We cannot guarantee that it will run in full stability.

As for the error code above, it appears to be an issue with the graphics card. Is the computer going to a black screen when you are using any graphics intensive applications?

If you are still experiencing the same issues, you can follow the steps provided by Microsoft here https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/2665946/display-driver-stopped-responding-and-has-recovered...

This applies to Windows 7 up to 10.
