Good news, and not-so-good news...
- Looking at your hardware maintenance manual: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?DocID=UM018924
manual page 56 shows your CPU to be socketed. Have a look at manual page 73 and you'll see the applicable CPUs. There are two i7s included.
- The discrete graphics support circuitry is soldered to the system board so it is not upgradeable.

But why I can see may Z710 Laptops with installed processor - i7-4710MQ with TDP 47W ???
So as for me I think it is possible to ugrade to - i7-4800(4810)MQ or 4900(4910)MQ - HOW DO YOU THINK ???
Have anybody did it before???? Can we replace 4710MQ to 4900QM, and will start the system or not?
