Lenovo Z710 won't boot past the Lenovo logo

2014-08-26, 0:26 AM

The laptop just won't go past the Lenovo logo and stays there for hours.

I've tried everything such as holding F2 and messing around with everything there, holding F12 and booting from everything there, using the OneKey Recovery and tried the Sytem Recovery, which gets past the logo but ends as a black screen. It won't start up no matter what I do. I'm hoping someone with a wider knowledge than I could helpme out with this problem.

Story is that it began to get very slow after a System Restore (the Disk was constantly at 100%), so I decided to restore it back to before I restored it and I waited 3 hours at the screen where it said it was storing some stuff and registering things. I looked up what to do and one solution was to shut it down and try again. I did that and now it won't start up.

Please help solve this.

I turn on the laptop by pressing the OneKey Novo button and it turns on to this menu where I can Normal Startup (Power), BIOS Setup (F2), Boot Menu (F12), or System Recovery (Novo). None of them help.

So I got the recovery discs and can't use any of them. Tried Legacy disc booting, but nothing works, it just stays on this black screen with no logo.

Anything at all guys?

Bumping..

Is there any way to get it to work without paying or sending it for repairs, etc? I just need it to work again.
