Lenovo ideapad Y560 wifi doesn't get connected at far range

a week back a gave my Lenovo idepad Y560 laptop to a service centre to get its Hinges replaced. Ever since i got it back my laptop doesn't connect to my wifi at far range.... my wifi adaptor detects all available wifi spots but doesn't seem to get connected to it till i come extremely close to the router. the moment i take my laptop away from the router it drops or gets disconnected. Before i gave it to the service centre it was working perfectly fine. i re installed the drivers but still no progress. the wifi gets connected at extremely close range to the router but not at far range.

Please do help me as soon as possible...

Re: Lenovo ideapad Y560 WIFI doesn't get connected at far range

Hi adlimas

Wifi Antenna cabels are through the LCD Hinges bracket

It might had been loose when it was reconnected.

But Before calling Technical Support please try you Computer first with other networks

    - Commercial Free Networks i.e.. coffee shops / stores

    - other home networks

This is to make sure it is not just some settings or adjustment issue

Best Regards
