Re: Lenovo ideapad Z710 How to disable function keys?

Hello,

i have the same problem:

when i do hotkeys enabled in BIOS then the F-keys are only availablen using Fn+F-key.

when i do hotkeys disabled in BIOS then the all F-keys are avaiable without using Fn-key. But this does not work for the F4 key. This key is still only available using the Fn-key.

I think we need a Update for the BIOS to solve this problem.

Re: Lenovo ideapad Z710 How to disable function keys?

Hi people.

Yes another here with the same issues.

I believe that swithcing or reverse function keys, should be something confiurable without getting into the BIOS like you do on DELL's laptops.

I have the same issue, reversed them, but F4 is still ON, and to use Fuction Keys, I have to press Fn+F and not just only Fn and the key.

We will have to wait for BIOS updateSmiley Frustrated like this guys did:
