Lenovo y410p keeps shutting down/ rebooting when connecting to wifi

Recently my y410p has been crashing and rebooting everytime I connect to my wifi. It works properly when I connect it through the LAN cable. I've also had this problem once when I went over to a friend's house and attempted to connected to wifi. The computer just crashes and reboots. I'm not sure why this is now occuring with my wifi as I've never had any problems with my router before.

Here are my network drivers

Re: Lenovo y410p keeps shutting down/ rebooting when connecting to wifi

Hi Artyy,

Welcome to Lenovo forums.

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with system shutting down when connected to WIFI in your Y410P laptop.

Try to update the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version and check for the issue.

Click here for the Wi-Fi driver, if the operating system is windows 7.

Click here for the Wi-Fi driver, if the operating system is windows 8.

Click here for the Wi-Fi driver, if the operating system is windows 8.1.

After the drivers update if the issue still persist, try to reseat the WIFI adapter and check for the issue.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,
