Re: Lenovo y50-70 Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in !

What does it say in device manager under "network adapters"?

Also have you changed the wireless card in your laptop?

Re: Lenovo y50-70 Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in !

abdurrahim,

on lenovo systems there is a white list for the devices you could install. if the device you would like to install is not in the white list, it's blocked by the bios therefor it won't work and you can't use it.

you can check the documentation below for the list that you can install the devices without any problemSmiley Sadpart lists -overall)

hope this helps

Re: Lenovo y50-70 Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in !

I opened the PC
I've removed the bios battery

removed the battery
removed wireles card
I rebooted the PC
PC worked without a wireles card

reset the bios settings
wireles card was inserted
PC was restarted

results: Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in Smiley Sad

The card in your machine isn't supported in the bios.

Re: Lenovo y50-70 Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in !

it seems there's a bios update for your system. please, follow the steps and perform bios update. after if the issue still persists, you better contact pcdepo customer support. this is a bios/hardware related issue and wireless card replacement will be necessary.
