Hi, after replaceing original SSHD with SSD and installing Windows 10 on it I've been having problems with the battery. Battery led indicator does not come on and the battery icon in windows tels me that the battery is not detected most of the time. Sometimes it looks like it is tring to "find it" but it doesn't. Any ideas how to fix it?

Try to perform a power system checkout for your device to see if the battery is working fine.
Here's how to do that:
You can also check if the Y50-70's battery connector/cable if it's firmly connected if the step above won't work.
Please see page 36 of your laptop's hardware maintenance manual to see the steps on how to check the battery cable.

Hi, I've done a power system checkout immediatly when the problem appeared without success and the connector was firmly connected. During troubleshooting I've disassembled and reassembled it three times and the problem went away. I think there might have just been some dust or a bit of oxidation on the connector or something like that.
