Lenovo y50 sound problem..

It just keeps on normal sound and then spike up in volume randomly... I'm thinking its the wrong volume sound and its trying to put back the volume sound to normal........but when it spikes up randomly like 15 minutes later it just goes down to low again.

Hard to explain basicly i think somethings wrong with my sound card or something, volume keeps raising itself then lowering later on

Re: Lenovo y50 sound problem..

ive had that same thing sometimes. When the voulme spikes up or down at the moment are you in another program ?

because when i had lets say youtube music and playing gta5 at the same time whenever i was to close gta5 the volume would go up.

If it happens while you have 2 programs open that output sound like youtube and gta5 or any other games let me know !

Re: Lenovo y50 sound problem..

On your windows search type in Dolby, you should get something hopefully. If it's off turn it on BUT if you have it on already turn it off.

Re: Lenovo y50 sound problem..

Hello Bryan2874

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to download the Audio and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
