Lenovo y570 power button light problem

Hello guys!

 

My lovely laptop Lenovo Ideapad Y570 has some problems with the light of the power button. The light of the power button doesn't work, the button works perfect and all the other buttons(touch buttons) work good and the lights are on when I start the laptop but the light of the power button is off. Where is the problem? It could be the band of the power button light?

 

PS: Sorry for my english, I hope you will understand my message :)

Welcome to the Forums.

 

From your description, it looks like there's a problem with the Sensor Board (this is the area where power and touch buttons are located).

You can try to reseat the sensor board to isolate any possibliity of a loose connection but if this doesn't work, you may need to replace this part.
