Lenovo y580 harddrive not showing in BIOS

Hi all,

I've had my Ideapad y580 since summer of 2012 and had no problems with it, till a few weeks back.

I've got a 128GB SSD as my OS drive and a 750GB HDD seagate (Stock) as my other internal harddrive, since a few weeks the HDD kept dissappearing until I rebooted the laptop. But since a few days ago it is completely gone, I could access it from another computer and back it up, but now even if I try to access another HDD which I connected through a dock by USB I cannot find the HDD in the BIOS, whilst the HDD + dock will work on other PC's. The HDD does not show in the bios, but does show in the disk managment section, but there it is 'not initialised'. I'm quite puzzeled about this, I already reinstalled windows 7 and used all the stock lenovo drivers, but still this matter persists.

I can still use my SSD and the OS, but i can't seem to connect any HDD's

Would anyone be able to help me? Many Thanks!
