Hi guys,
I have a Lenovo z50-70 and I want to replace my DVD-Player with an another hard-disk.
I bought a SSD to change my 1TB Hard-disk. Now I want to replace the DVD-Player with that 1TB Hard-disk.
Is that possible?
Can someone help me?

Hi there, Mark -
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
Yes, you could replace the DVD with either a SSD or a Graphics Card. The Hardware Maintenance Manual includes instructions on removing the ODD: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_g_z_50_series_hmm.pdf
Update us how it goes.

Hello,
I want to do the exact thing which is replacing ODD with a old HDD. What caddy should I use?
The optical drive is 9.0mm high, but couldn't find the fitting caddy.
