Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

I have bought that laptop few days ago without OS, as I already own Win 7, which I just installed. I have downloaded drivers from official Lenovo website for Win7(x64) and install them, but I still have one uknown device

The device's ID are ACPI\INT33A3 and *INT33A3

Which driver is still missing?

PS - I run diagnostic test and those are the results"

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Welcome to the Lenovo Community!

The ACPI\INT33A3  device is related to Intel's Smart Connect Technology driver.  Although I was unable to find the driver on Lenovo's website for your model, Intel does offer a driver download at the link below, give that one a try......

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Thank you for your reply.
I have tried to install it, but got the following information:

Smart Connect device not found in BIOS, or it is not enabled

Is there anything else I can do?

What about the "invalid" results of the test above, is it normal for brand new laptop?

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

In searching around I came across this Lenovo driver.  It is not described for your system, but it may resolve the problem......

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds030704

Please ignore the "invalid" response for the PCI.  The latest version of the Lenovo Solution Center (LSC) gives this result apparently when no PCI devices are present.  A more proper result would be NA or Not Applicable when the test doesn't detect any devices to test as it would have been less confusing.  I have a couple of Lenovo models that pass the overall test, but have an INVALID result for the PCI with the latest version of LSC.

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Ok, o I will ignore this.
Coming back to the unknown device - ufortunately, I didn't help.

I have also noticed another (more important) problem - the buil-in mic works on very fresh Win7 installation (without any drivers), but but when I install without Dolby Home Theater v4 (taken from official Lenovo site as an audio driver) it stops working. It is still on the "recording devices" list, although the scale does not longer move. When I roll back to the default audio driver it starts to work again.
(Should I wrote separted threat for that problem?)

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Don't know what else to tell you about the unknown device.  Are you sure you installed all the necessary drivers available for your model and Windows 7 such as chipset, bluetooth, card reader, camera driver, etc?

As for the Dolby problem, starting a new thread on that topic would be a good idea since I doubt you will get many responses with it buried several posting back in this thread.

Edit:  You might try also calling Lenovo Support about the unknown device.  Just in case we are missing something.

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Yes, I'm completely sure that I have installed everything that was available in "Win7 x64" category. Is it possible that there is a driver which, theoritically, is available only for Win8/8.1 but not for Win7 and it is exact the one that is missing?

Is there any possibility to contact Lenovo Support via email?

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

For any possible differences in hardware drivers I would compare what downloads are available for Windows 7 to the available downloads for Windows 8 in the Lenovo Download section for your model.

There is no email address that I am aware of.  Some countrys' offer an email address, but unfortunately yours does not.

Re: Lenovo z51-70 unknown device

Thank you.
One last thing that I forgot to mention: I have NOT installed "Intel Wireless Display Driver for Windows 7 (64-bit)" as the installer does not allow me to do so. It says that there is no proper device detected in my laptop, so I assumed that my model is not equpped with that device and ingored it, althout the driver is available in "Win7 x64" category. Is it somehow connected?
