I want to know if it's possible to change the screen of my Z510 to a full hd!
If so, can you show me how to? and if you can give me the reference of a good full hd screen for my z510 that would be great!
Oh and at last, does the screen replacement void the warranty?
Sorry for my english, I tried my best!

Oh really? I thought that I'll just need a new screen and that's it. Apparently I need to buy other "things" in order to do this replacement. I thought it would be easy because the laptop exists with a Full hd screen? This is how I imagined the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QzqU3EVwBk
I mean something easy to do, you just need to plug in some cable. :-/
Thank you Jonas!

Well, one more question:
How do I know that my z510 can or not support the full hd screen? I'v done some researchs and I have found that some laptops can support the screen replcacement without changing the cables.

Hi, do you upgraded your screen to fullhd resolution? I found Screen on Ebay FullHD with Touch Screen at 90 euro
Maybe you know if it will be ok?
And we need 30 pin connector or 40?

YES, YOU CAN.
I was in the same situation and i risked and bought a hd ips display. I just made this account to post this.
I went from 720p TN to 1080p IPS.
Careful when removing the old display, at the bottom of the screen there is a strip of glue and my old display shattered when trying to remove. Good luck!

For every one that is looking for information if it is possible or not.
IT IS POSSIBLE
Few minutes ago I replaced my old 720p display with a new 1080p IPS
It didn't work at first byt I've change in Bios "Graphic Device" from "Discrete" to "UMA only".
After reboot and setting proper resolution, I've changed it back and now every thing is working correctly in 1080p.
I have 30 pin eDP, my system is Windows 10, new screen cost me 60-70$
P.S. Feel free to ask me any questions, I would prefer email
