Good morning everyone,
I have a Lenovo z510, I bought it 1year and 3 months ago, and was working fine until 1 month ago.
1 month ago I changed the thermal paste, because i had a problem of overheating, after that, worked perfect for 2-3 weeks and now I'm having another issue
Since a few days ago, my computer is going down suddently when I tried to play games. On windows or Internet not found any issue.
If the computer are connected all the night to the energy power, in the morning the computer can be on games for 3-4h before shutdown, after that, If I try again to turn on the computer and play again the time is reduced to 10-15 mins. ( If I turn on the computer and I'm using it to listen music or internet, is working nice)
When I turned on the computer appeared a window, informed me that <If the device doesnt provide enough energy the performance could be affected. [Link]>, and link to buy a new charger or battery.
Checked system events, error 41 kernel power - The computer was shutdown by an energy problem.
Checked windows energy plans, tried, same issue
uninstalled energy management Lenovo, tried, same issue
installed energy management Lenovo for 8.1, same issue
Disabled an option on Control panel/system/advanced/recovery/reboot system on failure, tried, same issue
Tried to install firmware of battery, after download appears that is not compatible with 8.1 or is not a Lenovo Computer (O.o?)
At this point I started to discard software source...
Opened computer checked motherboard, looks ok
unplugged battery, and tried without battery, just with the cable, same issue
plugged again battery, and changed power supplier, same issue
On the computer, in all the steps above, the battery appears at 100% before and after shutdown.
No errors appeared
Checked Lenovo forums, not solution founded, but founded people with same issue (or similar)
Could you help me, or provide me new Ideas?
thanks in advance
