Greetings all. Today when I was casually watching youtube videos, a message appeared on my hotbar which says:
"Power Surge On Hub Port---A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message"
So I click on the message and reset the ports but that doesn't fix it....can anyone help? More importantly, will I have to send it in to lenovo to get a new motherboard?

Was it an usb 3 or usb 2 port and i suppose you have restarted your notebook and you still have a problem.

have you tried re-runing the usb 3.0 drivers from your d drives driver backup if you have one or download , it will uninstall the drivers, then reboot and try and install them again.

So did you have anything plugged into you usb 3.0 ports when you got the overload message?
