Are you talking about the DVD drive or the Hard drive?
If its the DVD drive, make sure that you have pressed down the DVD onto the slot till it sits flush in the tray
If its the Hard drive... take it back to where you purchased it from to save yourself the headache of just dealing with it... Call Tech Support to get a Case Number first though...They will ask you to send it into the Depot as an option but pass on that...

1) Call up tech support and ask them over the phone how to remove the DVD Drive to reseat it back into the slot. This is to see if it wasnt seated correctly.
2) If that doesn't solve the issue, the it's probable that the DVD drive is indeed faulty but by no means does that say the computer you have is bad.
