Im trying to get more performance out of my laptop and cant detect the AMD graphics card. I cant see the card in device manager and if I try to download amd drivers and services, they dont work.
Please help.

Do you have switchable graphics turned on in BIOS? Also is your laptop plugged in to outlet or running on battery?

Its plugged in. How can I get to the right bios to find that out?

No, I cant see this option. It doesnt have this option in the configuration tab.

Dont post your serial number here. But try the below site. Are you sure your computer came with discrete graphics option?

Im not sure. But ive looked at the same model on other forums where they have a second graphics card. Ive found my model but im not sure what im looking for.

I have to give credit to another forum member NateS; he made a good point. Looking at HMM(hardware maintenance manual) pages 88-93. Not all models come with switchable graphics.
