Neutralizing my Notebook - wiping out disk and installing a fresh Windows 10

I'm about to send in my Y70-70 touch for a warranty service (display faulty). To avoid sending in my work disk (which is a 1TB SSD I after-installed), I fell back to an older ssd containing already a Windows 7 adapted to the 70. But it still contains sensible data.

Now I would like to wipe out the hard disk an install a fresh Windows 10 over it, and after that install all necessary Lenovo drivers. How can I achieve that?

Re: Neutralizing my Notebook - wiping out disk and installing a fresh Windows 10

I got so far meanwhile that I installed Windows 10 now on the System drive.

Not Lenovo specific drivers yet though.

Is there a way to automate this process? Or does Windows 10 this possibly automatically?

While I was typing this I experienced that Windows was changing the Screen Resolution on the fly.

Could it be that there is an upgrade already running in the background?
