I have a little (for me it's huge), but very annoying problem with my display. Surfaces that have to be absolutely homogeneous are noisy, like a Photoshop noise effect. The black, white and very light colors are nice, but dark grays are very noisy and grainy (and other darker colors, as well, but the grays are the most noticeable). This noise pattern has fix position, if I'm moving the browser window, or the picture, it doesn't move. It's like every pixel has a different kind of tone or has different light intensity. Here's a pic of this to show: http://tinypic.com/r/335ef41/5 In the white borders, the surfaces have real noise effect by Photoshop editing, but the other grays are homogeneous - but not for me. I see the every surfaces (except for black) almost like the rectangles in the borders.
Is this a driver problem (by the way I updated everything), or the LCD display has hardware problem? The LCD was replaced once due to subpixel and dead pixel problem. Is there a way that I've got another broken LCD (this has also two dead pixels).

Is the problem that the display is only a 6-bit display (mine is LG Philips LP156WH4-TLA1)? This is very weak in such a strong notebook like this. Please, someone who knows the problem exactly, reply me some clever and helpful things! Thank you.

Okay, so after a couple of days of searching and reading and learning about LCD screens, I clearly see now that my problem is that this IdeaPad z575 uses a 6-bit LCD panel with the effect 'dithering', it's a static noise in my case to represent the 16.7M colors, but it can't without annoying spatial dithering.
The very important question is (and please, do not ignore me, this will be a simple question, but I haven't got the IT skills that is needed): Is there a way that there are 8-bit LCD panels with 16.7M true color display that is compatible with the notebook mentioned above? And if there are such 8-bit LCD panels, would it solve the problem, and will the screen show better quality, clear and homogenous colors without noise and dithering?
If this is a solution, I want to replace the 6-bit panel with 8-bit panel, and I will be absolutely happy, but if it doesn't work and it will not be better because of driver or any kind of problem, then I need another notebook, because the display quality is really important to me.
Please, someone with the proper skills, and knows the certain answer, please reply!

I've already read this article, but the main problem is that the z575 model has a low quality 6-bit LCD panel that makes the effect "static dithering" to make the illusion of 16.7 millions of colors, but the panel can display only 262.144 colors. Most of the users don't care or don't even realise this effect, but I want to make graphic design on this notebook, and I have enough visual and optical experience to see every little difference between one pixel and another. (Not to mention that firstly I've got the notebook with some pixel problem, than it took almost one month the service to replace it, and than the new one has also pixel problems.)
I've already updated drivers and downgraded Windows color-depth from 32 to 24, remove the Aero effect, but 1) these didn't helped and 2) none of these are real solutions, just compromises.
So I absolutely need a new 8-bit LCD panel, if this can solve the problem and can result better quality without static dithering and with true-color display. If this is impossible, than I unfortunately need another notebook with the graphical display and color-depth that needed. Can anybody tell me that a 8-bit LCD replacement can solve this, or that wouldn't be compatible with the notebook' hardwares and softwares?
