Non-working USB on Y510

Hi,
 
I've just purchased a Ideapad Y510 and have some problems with my USB ports. They are unable to detect any deviced that I try to connect. I've tried to uninstall the USB controllers in the device manager but Vista automatically reinstalls it again with no improvement.
 
Can anybody help me with this issue?

Did you try to reinstall OS?
Did you try to update BIOS? You can find all you need to do that here(read the instructions carefully before).
One of theese must help.
