Re: Notebook delivered with no screen and cover protectors

Hi,

My wife and I bought 2 Notebooks (Y450 + Y550).

Her Notebook(Y450) cover and screen were covered by a transparent film.

Mine(Y550) was not covered by these protectors and had a stuck pixel (red).

For these reasons, should I  complaint and exchange it? How many of you have a stuck pixel?

Yes, you should get it replaced.  You paid for 1,049,088 pixels and Lenovo needs to provide every single one of them. That being said, I don't think you'll have any problem getting them to replace it.

I can barely make sense of that chart.  It seems like it's saying that just one dead pixel does not a defective LCD make.  If that is the case, I'm calling BS.  A brand new computer should not have ANY dead pixels.  I would still try and get them to replace it.
