For some reason my P400 Touch no longer holds much of a charge. For instance, after about an hour it's down to about 10% battery life from 100%. I've tried a few "quick fix" ideas that didn't help with the issue, so it would seem the only solution is to replace the battery.
Is it possible to find batteries for the P400 Touch still, and if so, where is the best place to purchase one? I'm a little unfamiliar with the insides of this particular laptop, as I've yet to actually crack it open at any point, is there a guide on the best way to gain access to the battery in order to replace it?
Several questions at once, I'm afraid.
Thanks for your time!

Hi PGen98 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
The structure of the P400touch is similar to Z500/ P500/Z400 series similar to this discussion.
Start with the base cover , remove the keyboard and optical drive as it is compacted with those device for stability.
After the two screw on each side of the battery then proceed with the cable and all done.
You can review those highted links before starting for reference.
Hope this helped answer your query.
