Hi! I've just encountered exactly the same problem as you too. I accidentally stumpled upon a solution while experimenting the boot setting in my Lenono G480. From my experience, to boot into Win 8 again, you need to change the setting in the boot menu to "Legacy Support". Here is the step:
2. Press F2
3. Go to "Boot"
4. In Boot mode, select "Legacy Support"
It somehow fixed. But i don't whether this is good for Win 8 x64 as "Legacy Support" is not recommended for Win 8 x64.
I had this problem, so I enabled "Legacy Support", but now it displays a copyright and says:
"Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller Series v1.27 (10/31/11)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM."
(Lenovo Ideapad S400 Touch)

Having the same issue, BIOS update generated a password for the BIOS, system can't boot into legacy mode at all. I can't get into the BIOS to change the boot settings.

I have a Lenovo ideapad 110. After trying to log into my laptop I got errors "IPV4" "IPV6". Its also states the "registry is damaged. I can get into boot/bios and it reads my hard drive. I bought a new hard drive and out it in. It did not change or fix anything. Please help. I've tried all the FN F2, F8, F11 and F12. Unable to get in.
