Pink Screen and previous pixels showing on Y50

2018-06-02, 9:13 AM

Recently my screen started flickering and now I see a pinkish screen and can see pixels form the previous screen. Has anyone seen or faced this issue before?

I hope the attached screenshot helps.

Hello Adnansajid33

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Unfortunately I can`t see anything wrong with your screenshot there.

Which makes me think, that your actual fault will be with the actual hardware of the screen, I`d recommend to get in touch with your local Lenovo support line for a possible service on the unit.

Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

This just seem to have happened for me on my Y50 as well. Windows 10 had an update waiting so I rebooted and afterwards my screen colors are all messed up and pink stripes from bottom to top. I tried uninstalling the update but with no effect at all. I highly doubt this is a hardware problem.
