Please confirm: Processor or ram - Soldered on Y550?

Okay, so, i ordered a Y550 ideapad half a month or so ago. My line of thought for my build was that i would upgrade the processor and ram later on, as prices for components dropped. i realized lately that there was a bad assumption on my part - the graphics card is generally soldered on laptops, and i'm fine with that, but i keep hearing that often one stick of ram is soldered and the other is slotted, or the proc is soldered on. So, i'd very much like to get some kind of confirmation before this order ships, so i can alter it. Thanks for any help you can offer - here's the stuff i configured, in case it matters:

 1      4186CT     CONFIGURED SYSTEM

Proc: C2DP8700(2.53GHZ1066MHZ

GPU: GEFORCE GT 240M GRPHC CARD  (it's the 1 gig version)
RAM: 2X2GB3-8500DDR31066MHZSODI
HDD: 500GB HDD,5400RPM

Re: Please confirm: Processor or ram - Soldered on Y550?

As far as I'm aware the processor is just your standard run of the mill intel mobile chip and is replaceable (would probably void the warranty, but I digress)

Memory is also all removable and is just your standard laptop dimm.

GPU's are a somewhat uncommon MXM type chip and is unlikely you would be able to find an upgrade you could just drop in without running in heat and power problems.

Have fun and enjoy it.
