My Lenovo y50-70 (non touch screen) is randomly limiting FPS on games to 20 then goes back to normal then does it again it's a loop how do I fix this?
Welcome to the Community Forums! Glad to have you here.
Would just like to get additional details from you for this to be sorted out properly:
One step that can be done here is by disabling NVIDIA GPS through BIOS.
Just press the Novo button that's next to the Power button when the laptop is off to access BIOS menu.
Update us on how it will go through. Regards.

My bad for not giving the complete steps. Sorry for that one.
Wait for the device to boot again and once done, check on how it will go through.

Another question what does nvidia GPS even do?
Like a motherboard, a graphics card is a printed circuit board that houses a processor and RAM. It also has an input/output system (BIOS) chip, which stores the card's settings and performs diagnostics on the memory, input and output at startup. A graphics card's processor, called a graphics processing unit (GPU), is similar to a computer's CPU.
To make it short, it is responsible for graphics rendering that produces images/pictures when you're playing high quality contents like games or videos.
NVIDIA GPS/GPU is your device's graphics card brand.
