It's kinda hard to explain, but there is definitely an issue with my brand new Y550P laptop. I first noticed it when gaming, but now I can see it on the desktop as well. Every now and then I see a teeny tiny mesh grid on the display. Tiny. Very hard to detect, but it's definitely there. The best way I can see it is on a dark backgroud. But, it's not always there. It seems to appear with motion, like in a video, more often, but I can sometimes see it for a split second on static web pages. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
It's not a heat issue. I'm monitoring heat and using laptop cooler.
I actually tried installing the drivers off the nvidia site, and the problem seemed worse. Instead of seeing very tiny squares in the mesh grid, it became tiny verticle lines. Rolled the driver back. Help please

It's not a dead pixel. It's hard to explain though. It's such a small pattern that appears for such a brief period of time. It's almost like the screen looks slightly blurred. It's very small but it effects the entire screen. Just a slight noise that has a pattern to it (like a 1pixel grid) It took my wife a while to see it, but it is there every now and then.

Glad to see someone else has it as well
Yeah, it's not THAT big of a deal. I'm not too picky about my display. But, I'm sure it would be unacceptable to anyone that was hardcore about vdeo display. It's such an awesome machine, I just wish there was a fix for it. Maybe it's a driver issue? Maybe an update down the road will fix it??? I sure hope so.
