The problem is this.
The laptop is dead.
Doesn't do anything.
My brother bought a new adapter with a blue light. When we plug the ac in the light from the adapter flashes constantly and the adapter makes really high tones. I thought it might be the power cord that runs from the DC jack to the main board but that is not the problem.
The laptop does the same when I remove the battery. No lights only a flashing power adapter light.
What do you guys think what the problem might be?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Having the same issue with a known good charger does leave with the DC in port , power board and cable and system board to be checked out. Seems that the power checkout guide (page21) points out the motherboard but I suggest you have it further examined by any local service center near you.
They can have the other parts checked too.
I hope this helps answer your query.
