Problem with the Y50's headphone jack not accepting my headphones.

I just got the y50 fresh out the box and the headphone jack doesn't accept any of my headphones. I've tried two different headohones and a mic. Whenever I put one in they only fit in so far but not far enough to stay in, but just enough that if your holding it in yourself the computer will register it's there. However, if you don't it just pops out. I don't know if there's such a thing as the length being to much or something or if my labtop is broken. If someone could clarify that'd be very helpful.

I've got the exact same problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

And please don't say that we need a headset splitter. The problem is with the audio jack in the computer. It's not accepting the headphone jack all the way in. It only goes like 75% of the way in.
