Question about Lenovo Y510P Ultrabay

I have the lenovo y510p (59370015). It has a disk drive in the Ultrabay. Does this mean that there is no Nvidia graphics card in the laptop? If this is the case, then why are there a bunch of Nvidia files on it? If this is not the case then how do I get the card working, I see it with a Error Code 43 in device manager.

Re: Question about Lenovo Y510P Ultrabay

Hi happypatel ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Your model do have NVIDIA® GeForce® GT755M 2GB soldered on the systemboard

The Ultrabay is a feature where you can place in ether additional storage drive , fan or another graphic card.

Try to correct error 43 thru uninstalling it completely from the device manager including plaing a check on the box to completely remove it and install a download driver from the support website

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Re: Question about Lenovo Y510P Ultrabay

Hi happypatel ,

Greetings.

As show hidden devices shows devices that can also be unknown to you, verify it using the hardware ID .

Better to uninstall it first after downloading the particular driver (NVIDIA would be under display drivers in the support site , just choose your specific OS) . Re install the driver after restart.

Regards
