I've buyed a Lenovo IdeaPad Z50-70 Core i7-4510U 8Gb 1Tb 15.6" FHD LED NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2Gb Windows 10 1Y.
I've buyed a Kingston KVR16LS11/8 RAM 8 GB, 1600 MHz, DDR3L, Non-ECC CL11 SODIMM, 1.35 V, 204-pin 1.5 V, to upgrade the RAM.
I know that I have one 8 GB DDR3L-1600 and there is also another slot.
After I've installed the Ram, the OS didn't recognized the upgraded ram: it still shows me 8GB instead of 16.
I've looked into the Bios Setup and it still shows me 8GB.
Can someone help me, please?

Hi there, Mark -
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
Check the ram stick again, and make sure you put it in properly, i had it too once, i added 8 more gb ram.
And when i booted my laptop, it didn’t see the ram. i checked again.wasn’t put in properly.
After i put it in properly it worked!
Update us how it goes.
