I bought mine from ebay, it was listed as cl-9 so i bought it, but when i got it was cl-11 and i was not happy, but it works ok, it`s actually unbranded memory, if you buy any good quality "16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3 12800 1600MHz RAM Memory SODIMM" you should be fine, i would have bought crucial memory if i had not been conned on the cl-9 thing.
below is a link to item i bought in the link below, but you could have bought any good brand really.
I will just say mine is a Win7 Z580, i dont know if the bios version would make any difference.

There is very very little difference in performance between 8gb and 16gb unless you are using apps that need a lot of memory, i would spend the money on an new ssd, samsung or intel make the most reliable, and are worth the little bit extra money.

I ran mine of 16gb for a few days and it worked fine, no problems, though there is very very little difference in performance from 8gb to 16gb unless you are using apps that can take advantage of it.

I bought a set of corsair vengeance 1600mhz ram 2x8 gb to upgrade. However, when I put in both windows won't start, it freezes at the bootscreen. With a single 8gb it does boot. In the bios with 16 gb it's recognized. Is there some way to fix this? It should work. Windows 7 premium and 64 bit should handle 16 gb right? Thanks
