Re: Lenovo y510p GT 755M SLI Problem

UMDF HID minidriver Device is installed by lenovo power manager.

Try full uninstall power manager and you will see or install power manger 1.xx by lenovo (but y510p is not official supported)

Re: Lenovo y510p GT 755M SLI Problem

Hello! I am new in forum. My problem is that when I play games, which ones are supporting SLI with recommended setting from GeForce Experience, my SLI stop working and there is an error in bottom right side of screen which said: "nvidia kernel mode driver stopped responding.....".When I play I set "High Performance" from Power management. Once I've played Thief. When I play it in 1920:1080 it crashed, but in 1366:768 it doesnt. So why I have 2 VC when the laptop cant use them. I will be very grateful if someone help me fix this problem.

P.S

Sorry for bad English!

Re: Lenovo y510p GT 755M SLI Problem

The issue occurs when the Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) feature available in Windows Vista and Windows 7 & 8 OS, detects that the graphics card (GPU) has not responded within a predetermined period of time and reinitializes it with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) to prevent the need to reboot.

Since the graphic card is always drawing to your screen, Windows will often report the graphics card or its drivers as the problematic device after a system error.  In most cases, the problem is caused by another device or component in your system such as the motherboard, system memory, power supply or hard drive.

In my case, it was a hardware issue and my motherboard needed to be replaced. My GPU just ceased to work from simply watching youtube videos.

You may try the following steps though:

Step 1:

1.Go to NVIDIA control panel > 3 D settings > manage 3 D settings.
2.Global settings > set the power management mode to prefer maximum performance.
3.Click on Apply, close the control panel. Now check the performance

Step 2:

back up http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/back-up-registry#1TC=windows-7

Once it is done, perform the steps as below:

1. Goto registry editor (start -> run -> regedit)
2. Navigate yourself to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/GraphicsDrivers (make sure GraphicsDrivers is highlighted).
3. Right click -> New -> DWORD (32-bit) value -> Name it: TdrDelay -> double click it -> Set it to A (hexadecimal) or 10 (decimal).
