SHIFT + x doesn't work

Hello,

I have an ideapad z510, dual boot Windows 8.1 and Linux Mint. I have a strange problem. When I try to type capital X, using SHIFT + x nothing gets typed.

This doesn't happen in Linux, so I assume it must be some windows problem. I don't have this problem with other keys, they seem to work fine. Also this problem persists if I use an external keyboard or after I reboot.

I checked and disabled sticky and toggle keys and no result.

The strange thing is that SHIFT + x works a few seconds after windows restart. After windows finishes loading it stops working.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

Re: SHIFT + x doesn't work

I think I found the problem. One of my programs, the clipboard manager has a shortcut SHIFT + x. I disabled that and now everything is fine.
