After replacing my previous Lenovo Laptop because of my screen going black, my wife purchased this y50-y70 touch as a gift. I only had this since January 2016 and I'm already having problems with this too. I use this as a work computer so it is usually on at least 8 hours a day. The screen has a discoloration at the bottom left corner. It looks like when someone put a magnet next to an old TV causing the display to discolor. Also, the screen flickers a lot. And just today the display turned green.
I've updated all the drivers which didn't have any effect on the flickering. After reading some other posts with similar issues, I went ahead and changed some display settings in the graphics properties. I hope someone can help with these issues. I've had this computer for less than a year.
I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed.
