I thought I would post this for other uses who may find this help ful.
I bought Ideapad y530 last week and had WIFI connection problem.
I could not able to connect to my wireless modem (Dlink DI-624 Rev C) and the moment it connects to the wireless modem it would flash all lights on the modem and give up. Searching the forums I found it is 64 bit incompatibility problem of DI-624. But while talking to Lenovo support, he asked me to UNINSTALL Lenovo ReadyComm 4.0 software from the laptop and restart the system and the wireless connection was working like a gem. It looks like Lenovo knows that Readycomm s/w is creating problem on Ideapad laptops (may be only on 64bit OS?) and I would appreciate if they have done something for that already, like putting up a patch on their support site.
