Hi i have a z500 and today i got the above error. I have tried searching online but can't find how to solve. I am running windows 10. Any help gratefully received.

This is an error associated with the NVIDIA display driver.
Are you getting this error constantly?
When did you receive this error the first time?
What were you doing when this error came up?
Can you please provide the full specs of your laptop including GPU type?

Thanks for your reply. Not sure what specs you need but: windows 10 home, intel i7-3632qm, 64 bit x64, cpu @ 2.20 ghz, nvidia geforce gt 740m.
It crashes all the time. First happened yesterday as i tried to get on line, but happening whatever i do now. I tried to update the driver through device manager but it crashes half way through downloading.

Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > Display
Select the NVIDIA GPU, right click and Uninstall.
Then, go to Control Panel > Programs & Features
Uninstall everything related to NVIDIA.
Restart the laptop and let the drivers install automatically.
Alternatively, you can go to NVIDIA website and download the drivers.

Also, i can see that z500 is not supported for Windows 10 by Lenovo.
So that could be another issue, why the driver is crashing constantly.

Seems to be back up now. Did get a message about driver stpped responding and has been recovered, but seems ok. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your help.
