Thumbs Up for Call Center Support

I called-in to request Vista disks and I was very happy to discover that the tech spoke fluent English.  Wes, who is evidently located in Canada, was very helpful and courteous.  Lenovo management will be happy to hear that he diligently tried to up-sell me into a 2 year support plan.  I told him that I had to decline because I was planning to upgrade the processor to a T9300 next year, the day after the warranty expires.  I've got a price alert at Newegg to let me know when the CPU drops below $200 USD, lol.

Anyway, kudos to Lenovo for a great technical support experience!

Re: Thumbs Up for Call Center Support

Funny, I spoke to the exact same person regarding my HD 2600 video card not being a HD 2600 XT (he pointed me in the right direction to initiate a return).  I agree with you that he was very helpful and courteous.  But he didn't try to sell me a 2 year plan probably cuz I already had the 3 year plan with accidental damage...
