Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB

I recently bought a Y510P (59392626) which comes with a NVIDIA GeForce GT750M (SLI) GDDR5 2GB and additionally an Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB.

Acording to Notebook check (http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-750M-SLI.91280.0.html) : " The NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M SLI is a high-end DirectX 11-compatible graphics solution for laptops, consisting of two GeForce GT 750M. "

Quering the device that is what I see:

deviceQuery Starting...

CUDA Device Query (Runtime API) version (CUDART static linking)

Detected 2 CUDA Capable device(s)

Device 0: "GeForce GT 750M"
CUDA Driver Version / Runtime Version 5.5 / 5.5
CUDA Capability Major/Minor version number: 3.0
Total amount of global memory: 2047 MBytes (2146762752 bytes)
( 2) Multiprocessors, (192) CUDA Cores/MP: 384 CUDA Cores

GPU Clock rate: 967 MHz (0.97 GHz)
Memory Clock rate: 2500 Mhz
Memory Bus Width: 128-bit

All this is correct, a GeForce GT 750M SLI is two GeForce GT 750M , but since I have the additional Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB I wonder if I should be seeing  two more? Is the card in the Ultrabay not working? Am I missing something here?

Thanks, and I hope my questions are clear.

Re: Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB

SLI with your Y510p does not work with the GT750M version. I have the same laptop and couldn't buy myself an upgrade because of that. Lenovo, this is ridiculous. At least stop selling those cards or have a note saying this doesn't work with that until you fix the problem. It's so simple. It saves the consumer from the headache and disappointment.

Hey man, if you find it doesnt work at all, I can purchase it off of you. I have a y500 and have been looking for an ultrabay 750m. It would rid you of the 160$ paperweight lenovo has given you, and will be useful to my y500. Thanks

Re: Ultrabay SLI Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB

The model says SLI because it has one 750m built into the motherboard and a second 750m in the ultrabay. There is no way of adding more. If you laptop came form the factory with both cards then they should work fine, it is only if you bought the ultrabay card afterwards that it may not work.
